Dog Park Members, I hope everyone is having a good summer. Several Dog Park updates; -Nature Trail- As part of an Eagle Boy Scout project Zach Murray has cleared a trail which begins at the South end of the parking lot and extends all the way to the East end of the property along the creek. This will be a beautiful walk for anyone who wishes to keep their dog on a leash, bird watchers, or those who just want to explore. A member who walked the trail yesterday came upon a doe and her fawn. The fawn hunkered down right in the trail. There are many birds and animals in the vicinity; deer, beavers, muskrat, raccoons, Blue Birds etc. Thanks to Zach. Pictures to follow. -Pond- The pond has been dredged and an aerator has been installed to clean up the water and keep it clean. On these hot days a tennis ball is all the equipment you need to provide a great time for your Olympic swimmer. Bring some shampoo for a rinse off at the faucet afterward. Dr Nelson
