Keisha, an 8 year-old Afghan hound mix had a tumor in her lung.  A lobectomy was performed to remove the lung lobe that contained the tumor.

During thoracic surgery, Kris Young, RVT, uses a monitoring device which measures Keisha's oxygen levels in her blood and cardiac function.  She also must breath for her.  Amy assists Dr. Nelson in the delicate procedure of removing the lung.

With chest tube in place, Keisha is waking up slowly due to pain medication.  Later that day she was walking and eating.
