Carrie Cole, RVT

Carrie Cole, R.V.T. started working at AAC-S in August of 1999 after graduating from Michigan State University’s veterinary technician program.  She attended and completed the Purdue DOGS! Course in canine behavior. Carrie is also our kennel manager. She and her husband Rob have two boys , Zane and Caleb, born November 2007. They live with "Rosey" a heeler mix, “Mable” a lab mix and "Amos" the cat. They also have 2 horses “Spider” and "Mo" and “Darryl” the donkey.


Amy Davies, RVT

Amy Davies, R.V.T attended Concord and is a 1995 graduate of the Purdue Veterinary Technician program. She joined the staff in 1996. Special interests in practice include intensive care of the critical patients. She and husband, Scott keep busy with son, Ethan. They share their home with “Sampson” the Yellow Lab, "Kane" a black lab and “Chebby” the cats.  Life just got a little crazier with the recent addition of two kittens,  "Yo" and "Hemi" .


Tara Byers

Tara Byers grew up in Goshen and joined the staff in 1997 as a secretary/receptionist.  Tara enjoys the daily interaction with the clients and their pets.  At home with Tara, husband Craig and preschooler Emma, are "Red" and "Blue", two furry felines adopted from the shelter. Outside of work, Tara enjoys spending time with friends, and enjoying the outdoors with Emma. She is also the 2 yr old director at her church.


Britt Newman

Britt Newman joined AAC-S in 1989 as a secretary/ receptionist and is now our office manager. Some of her duties include taking care of client concerns, managing the mounds of paperwork, and overall supervision of the front staff. Britt and her husband, Kelly, have a daughter, Ashley. They have two shelties, "Salem" and "Lolli"..  In her spare time away from the clinic she enjoys working outdoors.


Joy Sigman

Joy Sigman has been employed at AACS as a secretary/receptionist since May of 1994. She and her husband, Rick have two grown sons, Matt (Amy) and Brian (Joanna). She is the proud grandmother of Josef and Katherine. The remaining members of her family are four, furry felines; Spot, Spanky, Buddy and Beamer. All of Joy's cats, except for Spanky, were adopted through the Animal Aid Clinic South. Joy also enjoys going to church, camping, hiking, and cross-country skiing.


Missy Mohr

Missy Mohr joined the secretarial group in February of 2004. Missy is our resident "catwoman". At home she has "Milo", "Pluto", "Scout", "Kirby" (our beloved and opinionated clinic cat), "Brady" and "Gracie". She is currently foster mom to "Ellie" and two of her babies, "Elliot" and  "Enya".


Kristi Ward

Kristi Ward joined our secretarial staff in January of 2007 and has been fascinated by animals ever since her mother let her stay home from school in first grade to watch their cat have kittens.  Today, Kristi and her daughter, Marla share their home with “Rush”, a Dalmatian/Lab mix, and “Princess Winifred Puddin Pop Fluffernutter” (Fluff for short), a Cocker/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mix, "Gigi" a Shih Tzu and three cats adopted from the clinic; "Taco", "Belle" and "Fresco".  Fluff was a stray rescued from a snowdrift after she had been hit by a car. 


Kim Newman

Kim Newman took over the daily running of the kennel in March 2006. Kim graduated from Concord HS and Purdue University in 2004 with a degree in Agriculture. She and husband Charles have several 4-legged children. Wayaya, a white shepherd and Kiyuaga, a shepherd/collie mix. Wahaya means Wolf in Cherokee and Kiyuaga means Chipmunk. They also have two white cats; Hazel and Maggie. Maggie is Hazel's daughter.


Brooke Stahel, RVT

Brooke graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in December 2005 and joined the staff of AACS as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in May 2007.  She recently married husband Jacob in May of 2008. When not at work, Brooke enjoys horseback riding, walking dogs, and spending time outdoors.  Brooke's animal family includes a toy poodle, "Sundown", and several rescued cats.

Angie Pestow

Angie Pestow joined our staff as a secretary/receptionist in May 2007. Angie's family includes her husband, Brian, and their two short haired miniature dachshunds, Petey and Lacey. Outside the clinic Angie is an accomplished cake maker. She makes and decorates cakes for all occassions.
