One of the most important things you can do for your pet is regular yearly exams and vaccinations. Each pet has unique needs depending on their environment and activity level. At your pets yearly visit a thorough head to tail exam is done by a Veterinarian. The appropriate vaccines are then determined and given to your pet. Checking your pets stool at this time is important in detecting intestinal parasites that may be harmful to the pet or the family members. If parasites are detected, a proper dewormer will be prescribed. Heartworm and flea and tick prevention are also prescribed. Nurtritional counseling may be done at this time as well.

Dog Love Wellness Packages

Animal Aid Clinic South has recently started offering wellness packages for all the dog lovers out there!  We know how much you love your pets!  We also know how important providing the best care possible is to you!  At AACS we hope to make this more accessible to our clients by offering a discount and an easy payment option.

At this point, the packages are only for our canine companions.  But, we are hoping to offer cat packages soon!  The package includes the following:

• Yearly exam
• All necessary vaccinations
• Heartworm test
• Fecal examination for intestinal parasites
• 12 months of heartworm prevention
• Flea and tick prevention (if needed)
• Yearly blood work (for early disease screening) if needed
